Rosegirl18's Honey & Clover Tv Review

Rated: 8

The true genius within Honey & Clover would be the way it is presented. I found myself to be very impressed with the direction, as no episode is boring, despite the simple plot.

A series such as Honey & Clover could have very easily turned into a boring drone of an anime, but the subtle bursts of humor as well as the realistic evolution of the characters make Honey & Clover a very enjoyable watch.

I recommend this series for its drama and purity. Its dialogue will pierce your heart by the way it delves into the very core of growing up and the emotions that surround it.

Rosegirl18's Princess Tutu Tv Review

Rated: 9

Some anime start out good, and end badly. Some anime start badly, and become amazing.

Princess Tutu is neither. It's wonderful from the very beginning - and wonderful at the very end. The characters are amazing, the plot is amazing, the art is amazing, the sound is amazing.
Except for the very small faults that I have mentioned above, it is an unbelievably fantastic, enjoyable anime. It's not for kids. It's for people who know how to think, to be intrigued by the countless relationships that each character develops with each other.
It is a lovely medly of music, dance, and art. What else can I say? While I watched this, I laughed, cried, screamed, and got mad. I appplauded the director for the most multi-level and well-wrapped ending I have ever seen for an anime.

Rosegirl18's Kanon Tv Review

Rated: 9

Kanon was one of my most favorite series, and would have been my number one this season, if it hadn't been for Code Geass. The story induced so much emotion and cheeriness, I couldn't help but write a review for it. Each past helped me know each character better, and allowed me to see character developements that I couldn't possibly have seen in even the best of animes.

The 24-episode set up helped the story immensely, and I was grateful that Kyoto Animation used up the episodes to the fullest, refraining from any recaps or lengthy flashbacks. The company also seemed to use a storyboard efficiently, and didn't laze off on any episode. The story was well-written, and didn't get confusing (in the wrong way), even during the climax.
